Retro Access Sony Playstation RGB SCART lightgun compatible lead PS1 PS2 Luma GROUNDED cable
Color of cable is black.
Up for sale is a stereo RGB SCART cable for any region of the Playstation 1, 2 or 3. Uses sync on luma for a superior picture to standard PSX SCARTS with the same compatibility with TVs, scalers etc.
Also features an rca socket to plug compatible lightguns into. Please note that lightguns will not work on HD displays. Use a standard definition CRT monitor or TV, such a PVM, BVM etc with this cable.
There are two cable options in the “cable length/type” menu:
Fortraflex is a highly graded individually shielded, highly flexible cable made to order by Tasker of Italy for our company. All signal lines are individually shielded with pure copper strand wrap to eliminate crosstalk-induced artifacts. The outer casing is a soft and flexible polymer used commonly in professional microphone cables or high end wired game controllers (eg: official SNES controllers) to allow for increased mobility.
75 ohm multicore coax cable is a professional grade cable that maintains an impedance of 75 ohms to completely prevent signal reflection. This is the highest possible grade of cable possible for video signals, and we’re the only company in the world offering this as an option for SCART. Each line is individually shielded with copper wrap as well as having the grounds isolated from other signals via color coded PVC coating. This cable is also made to order for us by Tasker of Italy. Coaxial cable is thick, but it's the best option if you need a longer cable.Â
The cable contains 220uf Nichicon or Panasonic capacitors on the RGBÂ lines. These are mounted on a PCB inside the SCART hood.
Â
This cable is compatible with the following Sony systems:
PS1 (NTSC or PAL)
PS2 (NTSC or PAL)
PS3 (NTSC or PAL)
This is the luma as sync version of the cable. Outputs luma sync to your SCART to component or VGA/HDMI upscaler. May also eliminate visual artifacts caused by using composite as sync, please ask us for advice if you are experiencing this issue.
