Retro Access Fortraflex Sega Genesis 1 Megadrive 1 stereo RGB SCART with csync TV lead
Contains a 470ohm resistor on csync in the console end plug and 220uf capacitor in the SCART. Tested and working on an XRGB Mini (requires SCART to XRGB Mini adaptor) (no sync calibration required), a SCART to YUV transcoder on a CRT TV, a Coosis SCART to HDMI scaler and a GBS 8200 arcade board. Also tested on a PVM monitor using the SCART to BNC adaptors sold by wookieewin.
Fortraflex is a highly graded individually shielded, highly flexible cable made to order by Tasker of Italy for our company. All signal lines are individually shielded with pure copper strand wrap to eliminate crosstalk-induced artifacts. The outer casing is a soft and flexible polymer used commonly in professional microphone cables or high end wired game controllers (eg: official SNES controllers) to allow for increased mobility.
The cable contains 220uf Nichicon or Panasonic capacitors on the RGBÂ lines. These are mounted on a PCB inside the SCART hood.
Up for sale is the 1.5 metre version of our stereo RGB SCART RGBÂ cable. It will automatically switch your TV into the highest possible quality signal from your system - RGB with full stereo sound. As you might be aware, the Genesis 1 does not output stereo sound to plug into this socket and stream stereo to your TV.
Csync and coax cables for Genesis eliminate jailbars for the most part but do not eliminate them fully - only a mod will fix this as the issue occurs within the hardware.
Please note that for XRGB units, you need a SCART to XRGB adaptor to use this, or if you ask I can wire the cable for xrgb for no extra charge.

This cable is fully compatible with the following Sega systems.
Sega Megadrive 1 (UK or Japanese)
Sega Genesis 1
