Fortraflex - Sega Genesis 2 stereo csync RGB SCART cable lead cord
We are temporarily discontinuing csync based SCART and JP-21 cables as a test - for the reason that csync is no longer necessary for the best image as coax and Fortraflex cable shielding shields cable enough to achieve the best possible image with composite video or Luma instead.
Tested and working on an XRGB Mini (requires SCART to XRGB Mini adaptor) (no sync calibration required), a SCART to YUV transcoder on a CRT TV, a Coosis SCART to HDMI scaler and a GBS 8200 arcade board. Also tested on a PVM monitor using the SCART to BNC adaptors sold by wookieewin.
Also tested on a Super SD System 3 from Terraonion, confirmed compatible.
Csync and individually shielded cables for Genesis eliminate jailbars for the most part but do not eliminate them fully - only a mod will fix this as the issue occurs within the hardware.
Up for sale is a brand new, professionally assembled SCART RGB cable. It will automatically switch your TV into the highest possible quality signal from your system - RGB with sound sent to both speaker channels. It also includes 220uf capacitors and resistors to prevent your image from displaying too brightly.
This version of the cable includes a 470ohm resistor and 220uf capacitor on the csync line per correct attenuation standards.
This version of the cable utilizes individually shielded cable from Italy.
This cable is fully compatible with the following Sega systems.
- Sega Megadrive 2 (UK or Japanese)
- Sega Megadrive 2 European (PAL or SECAM)
- Sega Genesis 2
