Store Policies

This policy outlines the store practices of Aevros LLC dba Retro Access (“we,” “us,” or “our”), including shipping, returns, exchanges, warranties, and how we handle product purchases, use, lost or damaged items, and product defects or failures. It applies to all physical products, services, and digital goods (“products”).
We may update this policy from time to time. By purchasing or using our products, you agree to the terms outlined here.
ORDERS AND FULLFILLMENT
Availability and lead times will generally be noted on the product page. Be sure to read the full title and description prior to order.
- In-stock finished products are generally dispatched within 2-3 business days after receipt of payment.
- Made-to-order and configurable products (e.g. custom cable, 3D printed) may not be produced until after receipt of payment. Lead times will vary by product. Refer to the product page for details.
Unless specified otherwise we reserve the right to optimize the selected shipping courier at our discretion.
A signature delivery may be required for some purchases over $200 at our discretion.
Carefully verify your address prior to order completion. We are not responsible for lost packages sent to an incorrectly filled address.
Once an item has shipped, we have no influence on logistics and are no longer in control over the processing, handling or delivery tracking information or timing. Please refer to the courier for status updates.
TAXES, DUTIES AND VAT
Sales Taxes (USA)
We collect New York state and county sales tax on applicable purchases.
Fees, Tariffs, Duties, VAT (Export)
We perform due diligence to accurately classify Harmonized System (HS) Codes and value on customs forms. You are responsible for all additional fees and taxes including broker fees, tariffs, VAT, and import duties. If a package is returned due to non-payment of additional fees or taxes, a refund will be issued minus a 20% restocking fee and the cost of shipping, handling and packing.
LOST OR DAMAGED ITEMS
In the unfortunate event a package is lost or damaged:
- Save all packaging. This includes the cardboard protective materials such as bubble wrap, and label. This will typically be required to process a claim.
- Contact us, include pictures of damage. We will require at minimum your order number and details of the lost or damaged item. Provide clear, well-lit photos to facilitate a damaged item insurance claim (where applicable).
- After the successful completion of an insurance claim, either a partial or full refund or replacement item will be provided at our discretion.
RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
Standard stock products are eligible for return for 30 days after delivery.
Made-to-order and custom order cables are not eligible for return or exchange.
Returns or exchanges must be pre-approved in writing and your item must be unused, in the original packaging and in the same condition as new. Refer to the Support page for instruction on obtaining an RMA and the return mailing address. Clearly mark your package with the provided RMA number, and carefully package the items in the same manner they were received. Refer to RMA instructions for further detail.
When approved for a return or exchange, you are responsible for return shipping charges.
Refunds are handled as follows:
- Once your return is received we will inspect the item(s) and notify you of the outcome of your return, exchange or credit request.
- Refund credit is automatically be applied to your original method of payment. Contact your bank for processing times.
- The maximum refund is the original purchase price of the item, minus any applicable payment processing (typically 3-6%) and shipping charges.
We reserve the right to reject or offer a partial refund in the event of any of the following:
- Obvious signs of use, environmental damage, abuse or neglect.
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.
CANCELLATIONS
You may cancel an order you have placed with us prior to receiving a shipment tracking confirmation or prior to our beginning production of your custom-order or made-to-order item. Please contact us immediately to check eligibility for cancellation.
The maximum refund is the original purchase price of the item, minus any applicable payment processing (typically 3-6%). Payment processors do not refund merchants the interchange and service fees on cancelled orders regardless of how quickly a cancellation is requested. When a cancellation is processed these payment processing fees will not be refunded.
LIMITED WARRANTY
We take great pride in the quality of our products. In order to protect your rights and interests please read the following Limited Warranty carefully.
1-Year Cable Warranty
All cable products are warranted against material and workmanship defect for 1-year from the date of delivery.
90-day Warranty
All other products are warranted against material and workmanship defect for 90-days from the date of delivery.
This warranty excludes Do-It-Yourself (“DIY”) mods, parts and kits.
Warranty service
- If you experience a defect or failure, please contact the retailer where the item was purchased and include your original order number as proof of purchase.
- Once warranty eligibility is confirmed, we’ll issue a Return Material Authorization (RMA) with instructions for returning the product.
- Customers are responsible for return shipping and any related costs, including handling, customs, taxes, or processing fees.
- After we receive the product, we will repair or replace it at our discretion and return it to you. Return shipping within the contiguous U.S.A. is covered by Retro Access. For all other locations, return shipping will be invoiced and shipped once paid.
- Warranty periods do not reset for repaired or replaced products.
Conditions of warranty
Warranty coverage is valid for the original owner only and is non-transferable. The device must be cared for and operated in accordance with documentation or standard practice. Failure due to environmental damage, abnormal wear-and-tear, physical damage, misuse, modifications or unauthorized repairs is not covered.
In no event shall Retro Access be liable for any incidental, special, exemplary, consequential, punitive or other indirect damages arising in any way including, but not limited to, personal injury, loss of property, profits or business. Although every effort has been made to validate safe operation, this warranty does not extend to damage or failure caused to other equipment or property. Under no circumstances shall Retro Access‘s liability exceed the original purchase price paid excluding shipping and taxes.
This warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty and is in lieu of all other representations, warranties, guarantees, agreements, promises, commitments, remedies and conditions, whether oral, written, statutory, express or implied, including but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. The customer acknowledges that they alone have determined the device will suitably meet the requirements of their intended use.
There is no warranty on Do-It-Yourself (“DIY”) kits, loose parts or components.
REGULATORY AND COMPLIANCE
Our products are qualified through internal quality assurance processes. Unless explicitly stated, they are not certified by regulatory bodies or independently tested by Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratories (NRTLs) such as UL, ETL, CSA, UKCA, or CE. Within the EU, all products are intended for professional, commercial, or industrial use only.
