When shipping a cable back to Retro Access for warranty work there are some expensive pitfalls to avoid.
RMA Shipping Recommendations:
- Re-use packaging you’ve received. Whether it is a padded mailer or a small box, you’ll save up to $6 versus buying a mailer at the post office.
- It is fine to tape up those poly bubble mailers you get from various retailers.
- Make sure to completely seal the package and remove or cover the old label.
- Use USPS Ground Advantage within the USA.
- This service generally includes $100 in insurance coverage.
- Your RMA is entering our queue and likely won’t be jumping in any faster if you use more expensive options.
- Generate your label using an online service. We recommend Pirate Ship.
- The web services generally offer commercial rates that will save you a large percentage versus paying retail at the counter.
