Series termination resistors installed directly at the console output establish correct 75-ohm impedance, matching the cable and reducing signal reflections and interference. Many other cables place these resistors inside the SCART connector, which compromises signal accuracy and video quality.
High-Quality RGB AC Coupling
Premium 220 µF Tantalum AC coupling capacitors inside the console connector ensure clean and stable RGBS video signals directly at the source. This prevents DC bias from traveling along the cable and preserves accurate color reproduction, brightness, and contrast.
Buffered Composite Sync (CSync)
An integrated sync buffer with attenuating resistor delivers a stable Composite Sync (CSync) signal, properly conditioned for 75Ω (1 Vp-p) input devices. This ensures reliable video synchronization and eliminates timing errors common with improperly conditioned sync signals.
