Master System cable with csync and RCA audio lead for SCART to YUV

Retro Access

Sorry, this item is out of stock

Please note that this cable does not send audio to the SCART, it has seperated RCA audio wired at the console end plug.

Tested and working on an XRGB Mini (requires SCART to XRGB Mini adaptor) (no sync calibration required), a SCART to YUV transcoder on a CRT TV, a Coosis SCART to HDMI scaler and a GBS 8200 arcade board. Also tested on a PVM monitor using the SCART to BNC adaptors sold by wookieewin.

Up for sale is a brand new, professionally assembled SCART RGB cable. It will automatically switch your TV into the highest possible quality signal from your system - RGB with sound sent to both speaker channels. It also includes 220uf capacitors and resistors. A 47- ohm resistor and 220uf capacitor are on the csync line to attenuate the signal to 75 ohm sync.

This is the csync version of the cable. This cable does not eliminate jailbars on Master System as this problem occurs internally and can only be fixed with a mod.

This cable also features RCA audio out for use with SCART to YUV converters, or an audio setup of your choice. Please note that the audio does not go to the SCART. It is true isolated audio seperated at the console end plug, which gives the added benefit of no sound interference.

This version of the csync cable is designed for use with the Master System. It will also work with the Genesis 1, but will not output stereo sound as the sound is taken from the AV output on the console. If you need such a setup for Genesis 1, we recommend a basic non stereo SCART plus a 3.5mm to RCA lead for the headphone portion of the cable.

Please note that for XRGB units, you need a SCART to XRGB adaptor to use this, or if you ask I can wire the cable for xrgb for no extra charge.

This cable is fully compatible with the following Sega systems.
Sega Megadrive 1 (UK or Japanese)
Sega Megadrive 1 European (PAL or SECAM)
Sega Genesis 1
Sega Master System model 1 (all regions)
This cable is NOT compatible with the Genesis/Megadrive 2 or Master System model 2, so be careful! For a Genesis 2 cable please visit our other listings.
